SEELS Information and Reports

This page contains links to SEELS documents that can be downloaded or viewed within browsers. These documents include brochure and design reports that provide information about all facets of the design process including the sample design, study timeline, and instrumentation.

The documents are available in HTML for on-line reading and adobe acrobat formats for downloading. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read the pdf formats and it is available free from Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html#reader). The table below lists both currently available and upcoming reports, their availability, formats, and brief descriptions. Readers may select the title or the HTM links to view the documents in web browsers. Readers who wish to download the documents for viewing or printing should select the pdf links. These documents have been converted from word processors and different on-screen results occur depending on the use of Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, as well as specific versions of those programs. SEELS - What do stakeholders want and need to know?	Now	HTM, pdf	This document was prepared as background materials for the SEELS task force members to provide a framework for the identification of research questions and refinement of the SEELS conceptual model. Descriptions of the overall SEELS model, its domains as well as potential research questions are included.
SEELS - Priorities Among Research Questions	Now	HTM, pdf	This report is the result a priority setting activity on the parts of SEELS task force members and advisory panel members. They were presented with research questions under each of the study's domains and asked to rank them as "highest priority," Desirable but not required," or "Don't include." This document describes the tabulations the rankings.

SEELS Parent/Guardian Interview	Now	HTM, pdf	This is a draft of the SEELS parent/guardian interview designed for computer assisted interviewing.
SEELS Language Arts Teacher Survey	Now	HTM, pdf	This is a draft of the SEELS language arts teacher survey. This survey is intended to be completed by the teacher who delivers primary language arts instruction to the sampled student.
SEELS School Program Survey	Now	HTM, pdf	This is a draft of the SEELS school program survey. This survey is intended to be completed by the teacher who is most familiar with the sampled student's overall program.
SEELS School Background Survey	Now	HTM, pdf	This is a draft of the SEELS school background survey. This survey is intended to be completed by a principal or other respondent able to comment on the overall school envioronment and policies.
